~Perfect Love~

Every woman wants to feel special~
She wants to be looked at by one certain handsome man
whose amazingly deep eyes
only see her~
She wants his voice to speak of how lucky he is
to have her
and for him to truly wonder why of all the men she could have
she would want him.
To him she is so breathtaking and lovable,
~She is exciting and he feels so lucky...
He knows that when she looked his way
there must have been some miracle
because he feels he does not deserve her.
And the pride he would feel just to stand beside her,,,
Every woman dreams of a love that is as wide
as it is deep
and as strong as the power of a thousand mens arms~
Yet only he gets to hold her.
Many women don't know this love,
would give anything even to brush the lips of this kind of passion.

I have touched with these very fingertips that very Man~
Have been held by him across the miles
and felt his Love like he was right here.
I laid in his lap, my head on his chest,
and in his tight but gentle embrace
I've felt safety and love like I've never known...

My ears have been kissed by the wings of his sweet words~
Though so soft and gentle in their flutter,
their strength could cause a hurricane on the shores of my heart.

I have felt a touch that was only in my own mind
put there by his sexy words.
Even miles apart his touch was anything but invisible.
It felt as real and as seductive as if he were there in the flesh.

Every woman yearns to be loved~
Truly,deeply and indescribably adored.
Wants to feel her man say those three words that only from him mean so much.
Even if it only lasts for mere precious moments....

I have searched so long,
have been hurt, my heart torn and shredded.
I have given my heart to too many so undeserving men
and received it back in pieces...
I have denied my heart any further happiness
for fear of the next man abandoning me again.
And in that tug of war with my heart and my mind,
in all that pain and love,
I have finally been blessed
to find this one and only perfect Love.
Whatever time brings,
even a broken heart,
I would rather feel that to be with him for even a moment
than never be with him at all.

Reaching out is the most difficult part

Apparently in spite of all the good things in my life I am currently caught, again, in the tight grip of depression. While I've experienced it most of my life, I can't always recognize that is has me until I'm well imprisoned by it's firm hold. One minute I'm laughing and enjoying the little things in life, the next I'm struggling with ugly, broken thoughts. And like pieces of glass in my head, the thoughts cut into the flesh and leave me bleeding only darkness. When I am in a depressive state I am not sad all the time. Okay, so its over. I wrote you an e-mail along with the blog, asked you to consider working through our problems to get back to our friendship but you have gone unseen and unheard. I should not be surprised. In fact, I should be relieved as I feel that I am the one who fought for us while you just rode the waves. I am a woman, lost at times, full of self-doubt and feelings of abandonment. Sadly, having issues like these can make maintaining a long-distance friendship hard. Even more difficult is when the other person goes along fine,it seems, but is never honest about their feelings like I believe you weren't. ~ The Silencing Of An Abused Voice ~

When you go through life feeling almost everything that happens around you, it can be very difficult to separate your heart from your mind and what you feel from what you know.  Most thoughts are rooted in emotions when you feel so much.  Your perception of the world and how it views you is influenced by your own self-worth. Perhaps over feeling everything has to do with being abused~ At least for me. Sexually, mentally and physically~ All forms of abuse can eat away at the core of self worth and become so overwhelming that in time it's all one can do to not pick everything apart-even compliments-for some hidden insult. It's exhausting, to say the least, and it can put a lot of distance between yourself and others.  As if you aren't lonely enough in that dark and cold place, you become a victim of your own thoughts, doubts and worries.
